Every week or two, we will feature an animal available for adoption through various shelters and rescue organizations in Arizona. All of the animals were photographed by AZ Pet Professional member, Jill Flynn of Visual Harmony Photography.

Shelters are filled to capacity with animals. The lucky ones get rescued by a no-kill shelter or other rescue organization that can care for them until they get adopted. The not so lucky ones end up at the pound or a high kill shelter. Everyone involved with animal rescue knows that mother animals and their babies are the first ones to be euthanized for the simple reason that there are not enough resources or time to care for them. Next on the list are sick and injured animals. Their plight is heartbreaking. Each time an animal is adopted, that frees up space for another one to be saved. Please share and help spread the word to find not only the animals featured here a loving home but all homeless animals around the world.

If you are an Arizona non-profit animal rescue organization and need photographs taken of your rescued animals please contact Jill Flynn at jill@visualharmonyphotography.com. Jill is also available to teach volunteers how to take better pictures.
If you are a non-profit animal rescue organization located in another state or country and need photographs taken of your rescued animals, please connect with HeARTs Speak, an international, non-profit organization of artists helping animals.

Featured Pet of the Week ~ Molly

Attention Cattle Dog Lovers!

Molly is available for adoption through Az Happy Tails Animal Rescue in Chandler, AZ.

Did you know that shelters and rescues are full of the most amazing mutts and mixed breeds? Molly is an Australian Cattle dog mix. She is short in stature, not too big - not too small, with a shy and gentle spirit.

Molly was dumped and left on the Reservation. She is about a year and a half old and a real sweetheart. Molly is great with both large and small dogs and would LOVE a home with another playful dog. Molly is house trained, great on a leash, and loves to walk, run, and hike. She is spayed, up to date on her shots and micro-chipped.
